Web Site Information
Welcome to our new site. It is a comprehensive tool to make our organization more visible to the public and to serve the MGC members and Clubs in a variety of ways. What you see now is just the beginning; the site is poised for expansion for years to come. In the initial stages we concentrated on expanding the public information that was available on the old site. Next we are expanding the “Members” sections of the Site and assisting in getting members registered as users of the Site.
If you are a member of a Club affiliated with MGC we encourage you to register with the web site. Simply look for the city and club where you are a member and click on the "Join" button, fill out the form and click on "Register" “
Click Here to register”. This will enable you to enjoy the member’s only sections. Many of these are yet to be developed, some of them will benefit from input provided by our knowledgeable membership.
If you would like to join a Garden Club, you can also follow the instructions in the above paragraph. Your request will be forwarded to the officers in the club you select.
If you use blocking for your e-mail, please allow permission for the webmaster to contact you in case there are questions about your request. The address to allow is -
michigangardenclubs@yahoo.com
The Members Directory will grow as members register and give us their permission to post their information. It is for the convenience of the members.
The forum area is ready and available for member use. This is your opportunity to let the author in you bloom. If you have never participated in a forum before, make this your first one. You will encounter a friendly atmosphere of your garden friends. Ask questions, give answers, express opinions, debate topics, provide information, etc. – Just be nice :-)
The Plant Data Base section is there for the public to explore, and for members to contribute. This is your opportunity to share your knowledge (and impress us all) with contributions of information about plant species you are growing, have read about; want to warn us about, etc. Feel free to start new categories or add to existing ones. You will find it a user friendly encounter, but let us know if you need any help.
State and National Projects will give you information about these projects.
Forms - State is a handy place to view, download, and print out forms to use for their intended purpose.
Ideas for your Club -- Here we will list information that we find that may be of interest for clubs and members. Come back often to see what is new.
We hope you enjoy the Site. We will always be happy to receive suggestions and ideas. Now feel free to let your mouse wander along the left side of the Site and go exploring. Come back often to see new things happening.
