Two NEW Flower Show Awards

 

Chickadee Award for a Small Standard Flower Show held by a District/s of Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc., all of whose clubs are members of MGC, Inc.

Will be awarded to each District that has held a Small Standard Flower Show.  Show must have been evaluated and scored 95 or more.

May be awarded to each of Michigan Garden Clubs Districts based on membership,

        a. Large size District. a.I a.III a.V

        b. Medium size District. b.IIB b.IV

        c. Small size District. c.IIA c.VI

 

Poppy Award for a Standard Flower Show held by a District/s of Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc., all of whose clubs are members of MGC, Inc.

Will be awarded to each District that has held a Standard Flower Show.  Show must have been evaluated and scored 95 or more.

May be awarded to each of Michigan Garden Clubs Districts based on membership,

        a. Large size District. a.I a.III a.V

        b. Medium size District. b.IIB b.IV

        c. Small size District. c.IIA c.VI

 

Districts applying as a Small Standard Flower Show must submit a BOE of no more than10 pages (5 two sided pages).  Districts applying as a Standard Flower Show must submit a BOE of no more than 20 pages (10 two sided pages).  All requirements for a Small/Standard Flower Show can be found in the Handbook for Flower Shows (2007 edition), Fall edition of the National Gardener Magazine, NGC, Inc./MGC, Inc. websites.

 

DISTRICTS APPLYING FOR THE NATIONAL AWARD, (NGC #30) MAY NOT APPLY FOR THIS MICHIGAN AWARD.
