Janea Little: “Animals We Love To Hate”  Despite being animals ourselves, we humans hate a lot of other animals.  Some of them we hate because they can hurt us.  Some we hate because we THINK they can hurt us. Some we hate because of what they eat, or what we think they eat. And some seem just too creepy, or have too many legs or eyes, to not hate!  Naturalist Janea will explore the natural history of a wide variety of ‘hate able’ animals, from ticks and toe biters to hawks and hornets, and offer a perspective on which are really worth hating.

Joe Rogers: “Introduction to Birds of Prey”  Joe Rogers is a Raptor and Wildlife biologist and is the Director of Wildlife Recovery Association since 1975.  Mr. Rogers rescues injured birds of prey, heals their wounds and prepares them for re-release them back into the wild.  Birds who have been injured too severely to release he gives them a home on his 200 acre farm in Shepherd, Michigan.
