Two $100 awards are given; one to a club membership up to 35 and one to a club over 35 members.
Garden Walk Evaluation:
A garden club that holds a garden walk will ask three Landscape Design Consultants to evaluate the garden walk using the criteria below. The evaluations (scores and comments) will be sent to the MCC President after the walk. A list of Landscape Design Consultants for your district is enclosed.
No Book of Evidence is required.
In a large envelope, include the following: MGC Award Application, Walk Map/Ticket, Publicity, Labeled photos of the garden walk (limit 10), educational handouts, a one page narrative that show cases the walk: brief description of gardens, number of members and their participation, member recruitment, educational displays, etc.
